Bombe chests are some of the uniquest furniture because of its distinctive curvy features and round design which are not commonly found in other furniture styles. Bombe chests are one of the most elegant chests to own because they are one of the more complicated to make. I bought my chest a couple years ago, and finally completed painting it. It was finished orignially with baked on white paint, so needless to say stripping it was too labourous. I really am a big fan of burl wood, so knowing it wasn't burl wood, I decided to paint it.
